Our projects

 

1. IMPORT OF CARRARA MARBLE DECORATIONS (FRUIT AND VEGETABLE DECORATIONS)

  • Country of origin: Italy
  • Customer:  Furniture store
  • Import category: Furniture, home decor and interior design items
  • Key deliverables: Door-to-door delivery, including cross-docking and marking without damaging individual packaging
  • Challenges overcome: 
  • Consignment weight;
  • The producer’s lack of export shipping experience;
  • Packaging did not comply with export standards.

 

2. IMPORT OF NATURAL TURF GRASS AND EQUIPMENT FOR A STADIUM

  • Country of origin: Netherlands/Germany
  • Customer:  Stadium developer
  • Import category: Efficient temperature-controlled transportation, out-of-gauge cargo
  • Key deliverables: 
  • Providing a large number of motor vehicles for loading according to a pre-set schedule;
  • Obtaining permits in countries of origin, transit and destination;
  • Ensuring temperature control with account of the weather conditions

 

  • Challenges overcome:

 

  • Complicated contractual shipping support;
  • Tight project deadline;
  • Challenging weather conditions;
  • Remote location for unloading (CIS);

 

 

  • Project summary:

 

  • Twenty truckloads of turf grass loaded within two days in Europe;
  • A required number of vehicles could not be identified before transportation due to the load specifics. On loading, it transpired that twenty vehicles would suffice to transport the cargo, instead of the 30 pre-ordered.
  • We managed to find loads for the ten available vehicles to save our client a fine;
  • We ensured that all vehicles arrived at the Moscow Oblast customs terminal within one day;
  • Customs clearance procedures were conducted in accordance with CCD 1 followed by the issue of phytosanitary certificates per each vehicle;
  • Once cleared, the vehicles reached the stadium within the deadlines specified by the stadium field constructing company. 

 

3. IMPORT OF FARM-GROWN FOOD PRODUCTS

 

  • Country of origin: Italy, France
  • Customer:  Moscow grocery store
  • Import category: Food products and ingredients transported under one or several temperature regimes simultaneously 


  • Key deliverables:


  • Grouping small batches of diverse products supplied by 17-28 farms into a number of large loads;
  • Providing impeccable veterinary support documentation along the entire supply chain;
  • Marking and packaging for the purposes of exporting from the EU.



  • Challenges overcome:


  • Most suppliers lacked experience in exporting goods;
  • Highly geographically dispersed loading points;
  • Highly diverse nomenclature of goods.​​​​​​​
